We are fortunate here in Trinidad to have an abundance of beneficial plants, fruits and vegetables to add to the therapeutic value of our products.

Watermelon, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Tamarind, Avocado, Mango, Noni, Moringa, Gotu Kola and Aloe just to name a few.

Activated Charcoal

Activated Charcoal provides deep skin cleansing by attracting and removing impurities, excess oil, and toxins from clogged pores, making it ideal for oily and acne-prone skin. It can also exfoliate dead skin cells, improve skin texture for a softer feel, help reduce the appearance of pores, and offer anti-inflammatory benefits for calming redness.

Coconut

Coconut is used in various forms in our products.  We use the oil, flakes, cream, milk, and powder.  The benefits of Coconut are endless. It is antifungal and antibacterial, thus helping the skin to ward off minor infections; it is a great natural sunblock. It also helps the skin retain its moisture.

Moringa

Moringa is an excellent natural moisturizer that nourishes and hydrates the skin, locking in moisture to keep it soft and supple. Its anti-inflammatory compounds soothe irritated skin and can help manage conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. High levels of Vitamin C in Moringa stimulate collagen production, a protein essential for skin elasticity and firmness, helping to reduce sagging and fine lines. Additionally, Moringa has traditionally been used to aid in wound healing, with its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties helping to speed up the healing process.

Ginger

Ginger Root is widely used as a spice and a folk medicine. Ginger contains more than forty antioxidant properties that prevent free radical damage and protect against aging. It also evens skin tone and improves elasticity. The antioxidants present in Ginger increase collagen production, reduce skin damage, and inflammation. It can even prevent hair loss, nourish, stimulate, and prevent dandruff.

Turmeric

Turmeric has moisturizing properties that can help to soothe and hydrate dry, dull skin.  Regular use of Turmeric can help even out skin tone, reduce the appearance of blotchiness, dark spots, and pigmentation, leading to a brighter, more natural glow. Turmeric‘s curcumin content helps to calm redness, swelling, and irritation, also making it beneficial for sensitive skin and conditions like atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

Diatomaceous Clay

Diatomaceous Clay is valued for its cleansing and exfoliating properties. Due to its microporous structure, Diatomaceous Clay is a drying agent that can absorb up to its own weight in moisture. As a result of this property, it is an essential ingredient in our natural deodorants. It helps to absorb excess sebum and cleanse the skin.

Seamoss

Seamoss benefits the skin by providing vitamins A,C, and E for collagen production and anti-aging, and minerals like zinc to fight acne and inflammation.  Its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties help soothe conditions like eczema and psoriasis, while its hydrating nature locks in moisture, and its antioxidant compounds protect against environmental damage, promoting a healthy, hydrated, and more youthful complexion.

Ratchet

Ratchet is an excellent moisturizer and is a great option for dry, brittle hair. Its oil helps to control excess sebum (oil) production on the scalp, which helps to keep it healthy. The high content of collagen-boosting nutrients helps strengthen the hair and maintain its elasticity. The plant’s natural sudsing action allows for better spread of hair products without relying on harsh chemicals.

Ochro

Ochro, also known as Lady Fingers, is rich in vitamin C and full of antioxidants. It helps to maintain younger-looking skin by rejuvenating and repairing skin.

Pawpaw

Also known as Papaya, this fruit has many amazing benefits for the skin. It is filled with enzymes responsible for anti-aging, skin tightening, skin lightening, skin repair, and exfoliation.
